From April 10 to 12, Makina Moto Expo 2026 brought the motorcycle community together once again for its 10th anniversary—this time across two exhibition floors filled with motorcycles, riding gear, accessories, custom builds, and brands from across the industry.

For RideManila, Makina has become part of the annual calendar. It is a chance to step outside the store and meet riders where the wider community gathers.

RideManila at Makina 2026

RideManila returned to Makina Moto Expo in 2026 as part of that larger gathering.

For a motorcycle gear business, an event like Makina offers something that an online product page never fully can: riders can see the equipment in person, pick it up, try it on, ask questions, and compare products side by side.

That matters with riding gear.

A helmet is not just a specification sheet. Neither is a jacket, luggage system, pair of riding shoes, or motorcycle intercomms. Fit, feel, compatibility, and the way a product will actually be used all influence what works for a particular rider.

Makina creates room for those conversations.

Across the three days, RideManila had the chance to meet riders already familiar with the brands it carries, as well as people encountering some of those products for the first time.

There were also familiar faces—customers, riding groups, industry friends, and fellow enthusiasts who have become part of the RideManila community over the years.

Seeing What Riders Are Looking For

Events like Makina also offer a useful view of where motorcycle culture is heading.

Walk through the halls long enough and patterns begin to appear. Particular categories of gear attract questions. New technologies generate curiosity. Products that once felt specialized begin to feel more familiar.

The 2026 show reflected an industry that continues to broaden, with motorcycles, riding gear, accessories, technology, and lifestyle brands all sharing the same space.

For RideManila, staying close to those changes matters.

The company began by finding products its own riders wanted to use. Years later, listening to riders in person remains one of the clearest ways to understand what they are looking for next.

Sometimes that means a new helmet. Sometimes better luggage for longer rides. Sometimes a communication system that keeps a group connected.

And sometimes it starts with a simple question: What works best for the way I ride?

For three days, the store experience moves onto the expo floor—surrounded by the people, products, and conversations that continue to shape the Philippine riding community.
